Volume 23

Volume 2301.23.2026

Hosted at @air.hq. With their support, we were able to do 6 individually plated courses, after doing our first 22 dinners family style plating. Grateful for their partnership.

32 new guests joined us including hair artist @kayratheodore, @kaitlynshavelle an astrophysics PHD candidate at Princeton, Will Breakwood, a micro biome scientist at John’s Hopkins, @iamajdillard a gucci changemaker fellow, @ashbygentry of my life with the walterboys on Netflix, and @rafikay1, Harvard PHD candidate, 2024 world governments summit speaker.

@sammykoolik spoke on working at EMP, opening @burrow.bk, and served the following

Sipping broth

tuna tartlet

bread & butter

caramelized onion lasagna

steak with squash and plums

citrus and blueberry vacherin

@robbiebent of Othership flew in from Toronto for us. He spoke on being different, “all the most interesting stuff happens when you’re making stuff nobody else is making. Capture something raw, homemade and handmade. If you’re making something ecceptional, rules don’t apply.” He also showed us the intense amount of detail that’s gone into building the brand and the experience “ “our calling is to make beautiful works to the best of our ability. When neglecting one thing, you can miss everything.” Robbie took out mortgages on both his and his mom’s homes while he was building the company. They’re now opening their 4th location.

@cisco.swank and @jackson.august_ of @whatmoreeee talked about doing all their own content and building their own brand in house. Cisco played a song on keys and Jackson demoed a song on guitar. They play gov ball and coachella this year. Steep trajectory ahead for the boys.

Special thanks to Ari Rubin for vol 23
